Our Roofing History
The Roofing Dream Is Born
In 2018, Colin pursued his dream and started a roofing company in Nebraska with a business partner. They quickly grew the business thanks to their reputation for high-quality work, materials, and customer service.
Relocation to Hill Country
After two successful years in Nebraska, Colin decided to relocate to Texas. He sold the previous roofing business to his partner and worked as an owners rep on high-end projects throughout Austin and the surrounding area.
Big Experience on Big Projects
Over the course of Colin's relocation to Texas, he managed a number of high-end projects that required high attention to detail and made sure deadlines and schedules were maintained with the highest consistency. But he missed working directly with customers and helping improve property values with beautiful exterior projects.
The Start Of Something New
At the start of 2022, Colin decided to open a new roofing and general contracting company. After seeing friends struggling to find good exterior companies to work with, he knew he wanted to bring his passion for completing home exteriors to the Hays County market.

Meet Our Founder
Hey there,
I’m Colin Hald, president of Elite Roofing and Restoration. I wanted to take a minute to introduce myself!
I relocated from Nebraska to the gorgeous Hill Country in 2020. I live on an acreage outside of Wimberley with my dog, Oliver. I relocated here to be an owner’s rep for large residential and commercial projects.
After about one and a half years of successfully completing over 20 projects, I noticed that I was missing owning my own company and dealing directly with customers, rather than being the middleman between general contractors and customers. I’ve owned multiple businesses and sold them after successfully growing them on morals, ethics, and solely word-of-mouth marketing.
One thing you will always know when you hire my company is that your project will be done 100% correctly. I’ve been blessed to have mentors in the industry that have taught me all the correct ways to handle residential homes up to apartment complex projects.
I love taking on difficult projects because that’s where we strive. I mean, who doesn’t like a challenge? When I’m not working, you’ll catch me around the acreage making sure it’s kept up, or going down to the square with my friends to get some ice cream after usually stopping into the Wimberley Cafe or Leaning Pear.
